Rollerblading

I have been learning to rollerblade in Foothills Community Park in order to join a roller hockey league in the future. I live in Goss-Grove and didn't even know it existed for the longest time - you can imagine my surprise when I saw there were two roller hockey rinks!

My favorite memory is doing shooting drills one day. I put one net face-down in front of the other so only the top corners of the net were exposed, and tried shooting into them for accuracy. It was getting cold and dark but I told myself I wasn't gonna leave until I made two in a row. My hands were getting numb and blistered, and the wind was howling, but I finally got it - maybe past closing time! I was cold and in a lot of pain but watching the sun set while peacefully shooting pucks around was very enjoyable.
