Provide Your Input
Beginning on May 8 to June 2, take the questionnaire and drop pins on the interactive map to tell us what you think about the changes made so far to Baseline Road in Phase 1 and what you want to see in Phase 2.
Phase 1 was completed in fall 2023 with the installation of tall curbs at strategic locations along the corridor. Your input will help inform Phase 2 improvements in 2024.
Project Overview
The Baseline Road Transportation Safety Project will improve multimodal travel safety along Baseline Road from 30th Street to Foothills Parkway.
This section of Baseline Road is one of the most-traveled corridors in the city and is home to many key community destinations and services, including apartments, grocery shops, affordable housing, health centers, shops and student housing for the University of Colorado Boulder. However, it is also a location with a high number of serious-injury crashes compared to other streets in the city.
This project will enhance safety and connectivity on Baseline Road through a number of improvements including intersection and multimodal facility enhancements.
