Exploring e-Scooters in Boulder

More travel choices are the key to a sustainable future.

As a micromobility option, e-scooters could support our city's Transportation Master Plan and Climate Commitment goals, but only if they're managed in a way that works for our community. That's why the city has temporarily paused issuing business licenses to e-scooter companies seeking to operate in Boulder until February 2020. We're using this time to explore whether Boulder could adopt e-scooters in a safe, responsible and beneficial way.

Let us know what you think about the prospect of e-scooters coming to Boulder by filling out the questionnaire on this page. And be sure to check the city's e-scooter webpage to stay up to date on project progress.
