Public Hearing and City Council Special Session
City Council to discuss funding options to build the fiber backbone, including a possible 2018 ballot item.
The City of Boulder is hosting a community broadband brainstorming session on April 11 from 6:00 – 8:15 p.m. at Galvanize, 1023 Walnut St., Boulder.
Chris Meschuk, assistant city manager and project lead for Connect Boulder, will present new details about the community broadband options the city is considering. Attendees will participate in a variety of activities to help the city better understand the community’s appetite for community broadband and delivery preferences. The city will also explore how the community prioritizes broadband compared to other initiatives.
Feedback from the workshop will help inform the May 8 council discussion of a potential broadband ballot item.
