Boulder Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update. Restore, Connect, Sustain.
NEW: Each week we'll be asking you a new question - check out the POLLS tab below to get started!

The City of Boulder invites community participation to help the Parks and Recreation Department prioritize how it will invest its resources and focus its operations in the future. This process will build on successes from its 2014 Parks and Recreation Master Plan and will help the department to:

  • Guide day-to-day programs, parks and facility operations.
  • Provide more inclusive recreational access to community members.
  • Maintain financial sustainability and resilience.

As a first step, the department used a questionnaire to invite community input on the key themes previously used in 2014. The questionnaire closed on Feb. 28 to allow for data analysis. A summary of all community feedback, including the questionnaire, will be developed to ensure the community voice is used to guide the master plan update.

Your participation in the process is critical to ensuring the BPR Master Plan Update serves the community. There will be multiple opportunities for participation throughout 2021. For more information on the project process, please visit the BPR Master Plan Update project page(External link).

Please sign up to receive emails regarding BPR Master Plan project updates and notifications. You will receive a monthly email when staff updates the project page with new information and notification as new opportunities for community feedback are posted.
