Thank you for exploring and commenting on the community review draft of the reimagined Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan. The community comment period from March 3 to April 6 is now closed.
City and County staff will review all submitted comments and use this feedback to refine the plan. A recommended draft of the Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan will be posted here on May 18 for public viewing ahead of adoption hearings beginning in June 2026. Community members will be able to share final comments with the City Planning Board, City Council, County Planning Commission and Board of County Commissioners at upcoming public hearings.

Artist Collaboration
Through this fall, the city invites community members to participate in Voicing Boulder, a new project led by local artist Chris Carruth. Participants are encouraged to submit videos or photographs of meaningful places, objects or scenes around Boulder, paired with short written or audio reflections that describe their desires for the city’s future. Some submissions may be selected for an exhibit and even as part of the adopted plan. Details on how to participate are available on the Voicing Boulder website.
